hectic

Behold my first sweater. It's Gimmersta from Noro Revisited, except I used Kureyon instead of Blossom and I held two strands of Cash Iroha together at the top so it would be really thick. I'm proud. It was so easy. I went to Knit today because they were having their inventory sale:

It's 10 skeins of Malabrigo: three "Apple Cinnamon," two "Beige," and five "Water Green." I'm making the Katelyn sweater using the Beige Malabrigo because I want just a plain pullover sweater. I also ordered the yarn for a Tilted Duster, so that should arrive soon, tooooo! I'm excited. =]

happy holidays

My Christmas was amazing. I got a Canon Powershot SD870. It is amazing. I also got the yarn to make this sweater/jacket thing from the most recent Vogue Knitting:

It's so pretty! I want to finish it before school starts again, but we'll see if that actually happens. My little brother also got me a sheep scarf knit kit from Morehouse. It's really cute and really easy, here's what I've got so far:

I am so sick. I think I got maybe 4 hours of sleep last night. I'm so thankful today is the last day. I'm probably only going to first block...which means I'm going to have 3 tests to look forward to after the break instead of 1. Not appealing. Maybe I'll just make myself stay. I finished my Dobby Hat. Now I'm making really chunky mittens out of Rowan Big Wool as well as an Irish Hiking Scarf for my dad for Christmas. I'm also going to try and finish my Dashing fingerless gloves over the holiday...we'll see.

I need to start blogging on here. Maybe I will. I have pictures of almost all of my recent FOs, we'll have to see if I ever get around to uploading them.

Right now I'm knitting a Dobby Hat (so easy and so cute) out of different colors of Sublime angora merino and I made an earflap hat out of Lamb's Pride Worsted yesterday for one of my friends. I am so ready for Christmas Break.
